I trained at East 15 and Lecoq, two schools built specifically around the physical and emotional craft of performance, and I've spent 18 years using that training on stage. Hosting and MC'ing is the same craft turned outward: reading a room, holding its attention, and shifting tone the moment it's needed.

Every event has a different room and a different job to do. A wedding needs warmth and restraint. A company Christmas party needs energy and comic timing. A sporting event needs pace and clarity under pressure. I don't bring one register and hope it fits, I read what the room needs and adjust in real time, because that's what 18 years of live performance actually trains you to do.
